| "My current
style is a reflection of my life's history
learning art processes. A family influence
starting at age 4 helped me to gain
experience in oil painting, drawing,
ceramics and printing. At age 14, I
was introduced to welding steel. My
passion for bicycling, surfing, skiing,
and skating has helped me to form a
sense of identity. This has influenced
a relation to objects in motion and
is emphasized in my work. Creating shapes
and contrasting contours in dynamic
composition draws a dramatic sense of
presence, making the sculpture alive!" |
