expression is brought to life by shining a
single source of light on the sculpture. The
image created is often in juxtaposition to the
sculpture. A serene image may be produced
from a grimaced face or a beautiful torso may
appear as it will when age and gravity have
taken their toll. The living shadows can be
interpreted only through the eye of the
viewer. This lovely art form never becomes
boring or dull. With only a slight change
the lighting position or moving the sculpture,
a new and mysterious image appears. The
