The Julia set, named after the French mathematician Gaston Julia, consists of values such that an arbitrarily small perturbation can cause drastic changes in the sequence of iterated function values. The image is created by mapping each pixel to a rectangular region of the complex plane and by colouring the point by how fast it diverges to infinity.

Topèng is one of Bali's oldest dance-drama. The term "Pajegan" means "one who performs all function". Topeng Pajegan is based on a legend where the dance is performed by a single dancer who tells a story and portrays multiple personalities. So is the transformation of the Julia set in the visual environment.
